Title:  Assistant Project Manager
Location:  Rancho Cordova, CA

Wilson Construction Company is seeking a self-motivated Assistant Project Manager to support regional operations. This position will primarily be based out of the company’s Rancho Cordova office but will be required to travel to various project sites throughout the area. 

This position will assist the Superintendent and Project Manager in providing project support on high voltage construction projects of various sizes and scopes.

Responsibilities:
Administrative and clerical support for job sites, as well as support to the local field staff; 
Scanning, compiling and uploading/storing documents electronically and maintaining onsite files;
Provide project support for numerous construction activities involved in the day to day operations of an electrical construction project; 
Performing other related duties as assigned by the Project Manager, Site Superintendent and Engineering personnel; 
Learn the day to day operations and project activities to grow in the organization as required; and
Daily data entry of project status.

Requirements:  
Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Project Management or equivalent experience;
Ability to work independently while still contributing to the team;
Willingness to help where needed for the benefit of the team;
Available to work up to 50 hours per week;
Proficiency in computer programs such as MS Office;
Ability to communicate effectively with various levels of staff and personality types;
Dependability/Reliability;
Willingness to assist where needed and work as a team;
Strong Organization skills;
Ability to independently meet deadlines and remain on task; and
Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license.
