​Title: DOT Compliance Specialist
Location: Canby, OR

Wilson Construction Company has an opening at our Headquarters in Canby, Oregon for a DOT Compliance Specialist to provide support to multiple departments to ensure all DOT Driver Qualification Records comply with state and federal law. This position requires a high degree of confidentiality and diligence in ensuring all regulatory requirements are met by the company.

Responsibilities:
· Maintain DOT Drug and Alcohol Database by ensuring testing is performed as required and pool is maintained correctly;
· Schedule drug screens for new hires, random, reasonable suspicion and post-accident testing as required;
· Ensuring compliance with DOT, FMCSA, Driver Qualification documentation, Motor Vehicle Reports, and Drug and Alcohol testing;
· Request Full Query on all new hires in Federal Clearinghouse website;
· Maintain, update, and implement driver qualification records per current DOT regulations;
· Monitor drivers through SambaSafety;
· Notify drivers of upcoming document expirations, obtain renewed documents, and upload on company personnel software;
· Ensure DOT and Non-DOT new hire paperwork is filled out correctly;
· Assist Equipment Department with any DOT audits;
· Work with General Counsel as well as the Equipment and Safety Departments to address any Driver compliance issues; and
· Other projects and tasks as assigned.

Requirements:
· 5 plus years of experience in a professional office environment;
· 2 years of experience in a similar DOT administrative support role;
· Strong organizational skills;
· Attention to detail;
· Proficiency in MS Office; Peopletrak software experience is a plus;
· Ability to handle confidential material;
· Must be reliable and dependable;
· Ability to multi-task, follow directions, be open to change and work under pressure;
· Excellent written and oral communication skills; and
· Ability to communicate effectively with various levels of staff.

Ideal candidates will be team-oriented and have the self-motivation and organization to be an effective contributor to the team. Being able to communicate effectively and follow up assertively with a positive attitude is essential in this position.
