?Title: Assistant Accounts Payable Manager
Location: Canby, OR

Wilson Construction Company is seeking an ambitious Assistant Accounts Payable Manager with strong organizational skills and ability to supervise a staff of 3-4 AP Specialists, to become part of our team at our headquarter office in Canby. This position will work under the mentorship and direction of our Accounts Payable Manager.

The AP department shares a large workspace together to allow for daily hands-on interaction in a team environment. The Assistant Accounts Payable Manager will be responsible for the following:

Job Duties Include:
· Accurately coding/verifying/entering and processing invoices for payment;
· Tracking/updating status of invoices in pending and on hold;
· Documenting status of invoices;
· Accurately coding/verifying/entering and processing VISAs and Out of Pocket expenses;
· Tracking/following up on collection of receipts/documentation for payments;
· Tracking/following up on invoice approvals;
· Adding new jobs to Timberscan workflows;
· Add new loans to spreadsheets;
· Amex Tracker;
· Verifying/matching POs to invoices;
· Assisting in maintaining the electronic filing system;
· Assisting with weekly check runs;
· Receiving/responding to vendor inquires; and
· Year-end 1099 reporting.

Experience Required:
· HS Diploma – College Degree in Accounting or related field a plus;
· Construction in Accounts Payable a plus;
· 5+ years Accounts Payable experience;
· 3+ years’ experience supervising;
· Heavy volume of paperwork and AP in an automated environment (Timberscan/Sage Timberline a plus);
· Extensive coding experience (job costing, departments, profit centers, GL);
· Experience collecting and following up on receipts/documentation needed to process payments;
· Experience in collecting approvals on invoices and following up with approver;
· Direct involvement in the check run process;
· Proficiency in Word / Excel / Outlooks;
· Accounting software, Sage Timberline a plus;
· 10 key by touch / Typing 50 wpm;
· Alpha and numeric filing skills;
· Organizational skills;
