Location: Corona, California
Wilson Construction Company has an immediate opening at our Corona, California office for a self-motivated junior level Primavera P6 Project Scheduler/Project Controls Analyst with a positive, team-oriented outlook.
This is an office position requiring the successful candidate to assist in initiating and updating current and new project schedules. Will require the candidate to work independently or with a team of Wilson and/or project owner schedulers to ensure schedule development and maintenance of the highest quality. This position will aid in the management and utilization of the project schedules for the processing of monthly progress payments and for the accurate submission of daily schedule updates and look-aheads to the project team, Wilson corporate office, and project owner. This position will support Wilson’s Southwest Region operating from the Murrieta office in conjunction with our corporate staff. Additionally, this position will work closely with our subcontractors and other project stakeholders under the direction of the Wilson Project Manager.
Requirements include:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or equivalent technical experience, preferred;
· Entry level experience with Primavera P6 Scheduling Software;
· Experience in a construction or utility construction field;
· Schedule resource leveling and cost loading experience is a benefit;
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite;
· Attention to detail with analytical thinking skills;
· Self-motivated team-member;
· Excellent written and oral communication skills;
· Ability to communicate effectively with various levels of staff and personality types;
· Strong organization skills to include:
o Coordinating, tracking, and meeting deadlines
o Project schedule activity/task construction readiness data collection, charting and analyses; and
o Handling multiple tasks in a fluctuating workload.
· Must maintain a valid driver license.
