Wilson Construction Company specializes in electric utility construction. We pride ourselves on being one of the few independently owned and managed firms that performs all facets of electric distribution and transmission construction projects, from installing the meter for your home to interconnecting high voltage lines to the local power plant. Our expertise includes all types of underground construction including voltages up to 345kV, overhead transmission lines to 500kV, distribution services, and substations and switchyards to 500kV.

With over 70 years of experience in the industry, we have a well diversified and well trained workforce that has the necessary knowledge and expertise to exceed industry standards for construction while striving to provide our customers with the best possible service they can experience.

At Wilson, safety comes before production. Our philosophy is built around our safety culture which strives for a zero-incident workplace to protect our most-valuable resource—our employees.

We hire many journeymen linemen and electricians from the IBEW and apprentices from IBEW-NECA apprenticeship programs, and train them for real-life scenarios on our five-acre training facility. We own a vast inventory of highly specialized tools, equipment and aircraft, including (12) MD 500 series helicopters specifically equipped for powerline construction.
