Prior to building the new section of transmission line, approximately 280,000 feet of timber was removed and temporary roads and fencing were installed to protect Tacoma Public Utilities main water that supplies the City of Tacoma with drinking water. The project was completed on time and with zero incidents.

Wilson constructed approximately five miles of 115kV transmission line that connected the Rhodes Lake Substation to the Alderton Substation. Wilson crews set 68 new transmission structures, replaced 7 existing transmission structures with new poles, stringed approximately 5 miles of new transmission conductor, and transferred the existing distribution facilities to the new structures.
